Let's work together
I believe in the importance of mental health and the impact of compassionate therapy.
My approach is warm and empathetic, designed to support you
on your journey towards well-being. Your mental health matters to me,
and I am here to support you every step of the way.
About me

Hello, I’m Sabrina! I moved to Melbourne from Switzerland in June 2023 with my husband and our dog, while I was pregnant. Since then, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our lives and adopted another wonderful dog. My first language is French, and I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Switzerland. To learn more about me, click here.
With experience in both hospital and private practice settings, I have also provided psychological support in English to non-native speakers. I have a particular interest in working with complex trauma and am dedicated to offering care that is thoughtfully tailored to each person’s unique needs.
I offer mental health therapy in both French and English for individuals aged 16 and older. Sessions are available online, in St Kilda West, or even during a walk in Albert Park.
Please note that I am in the process of having my qualifications legally recognized in Australia, so I am currently unable to offer a medical rebate. My fees reflect this, as outlined below.

My Approach

I practice Carl Rogers' Person-Centered Therapy, founded on the belief that each of us possesses the inner resources needed for understanding and growth. My approach is a collaborative journey where we work together to explore not only the challenges you face but also the areas where you feel secure and accomplished. Through this process, we’ll uncover the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that shape your experiences, opening doors to meaningful growth.
I believe that true understanding is the catalyst for action and transformation. My role is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel empowered to progress at your own pace. In a setting that is both relaxed and professional, I prioritize empathy, unconditional acceptance, and authenticity—values that are central to my practice.
"The more I can accept the realities in myself and in others, the less I find myself needing to defend."
— Carl Rogers
In addition to Rogers’ Person-Centered approach, I take a holistic perspective, recognizing that well-being encompasses more than the mind alone. Together, we’ll explore how behaviors, bodily sensations, and emotions interact, helping us view challenges from multiple angles. This integrative approach fosters a balanced and fulfilling path toward personal growth and well-being.

Whether you are navigating the complexities of school or facing other life challenges, my goal is to help you develop effective coping strategies and build resilience during this critical stage of your life. Together, we can work towards achieving greater confidence and balance as you move forward.

Women
Women often face unique challenges that can affect their mental health, from balancing work and life to navigating relationships and personal growth. I provide a supportive and understanding environment where we can address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. We can also explore specific concerns related to motherhood, such as fertility, postpartum depression, or parenting stress. Together, we will work towards achieving greater clarity, confidence, and fulfillment in your life, empowering you to navigate your journey with resilience and strength.

Men
Men often encounter unique challenges that can impact their sense of identity and relationships, from managing stress at work to understanding personal emotions and navigating societal expectations. Whether you're experiencing a difficult period in a relationship, dealing with stress, or exploring questions about your sexuality or masculinity, I provide a confidential and supportive space to explore these issues. Together, we can address underlying concerns and work towards creating a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Expats and Migrants in Melbourne
With experience working with migrants and expats from diverse backgrounds, I understand the unique challenges that come with adapting to a new culture and environment. Whether you’ve moved to Melbourne for work, studies, or other opportunities, or have been living abroad for years but still find it difficult to feel at home, I’m here to support you. Together, we can work on navigating cultural adjustments, strengthening your sense of identity, and addressing any feelings of isolation or disconnection, helping you build a more fulfilling life in your new environment.

Number of sessions are best determined on a case by case basis. Most people chose weekly or fortnightly sessions.
Rebate:
As I’m still in the process of having my bachelor’s and master’s degrees recognized in Australia, I cannot present myself as a psychologist or offer Medicare or private insurance rebates. If you’re facing financial difficulties, please email me to discuss a solution. Money should not be a barrier to therapeutic work.
Ensuring the Right Fit:
If at any point you feel, or I feel, that I may not be the best fit for your needs, I will gladly assist you in finding a therapist who might be better suited to support you.
